Before you grab your pitchfork, hear me out: I do not think you should purchase this service unless you truly cannot live without a fully custom Declaration brush. There are dozens of excellent turners with handles available right now that you can purchase and send to me for a knotting service (which are always available and I actively encourage you to do).

I had to stop offering customs over two years ago due to the time involved in each, as shaving products are my sole source of income. I have priced this service at 4x the cost of a Jefferson, as I am reasonably certain it will take at least 4x as long per custom. As a personal request, I ask that you not email me with custom ideas before purchasing - a thorough consultation is included as part of the service.*

I cannot stress enough that this is not a service that anyone has to buy, it should not have an appreciable impact on my current lead times/schedule, and I will continue business as usual. 

$100 of any custom purchase will go to a charity of my choice (likely my local humane society, proof will be provided).

What I'm offering:

A custom handle as close as possible to specs you provide. While I'd prefer you choose a shape of my own, I am open to ideas (except beehives or other companies'/artisans' shapes). You choose colors, can provide sketches, pour types, etc. - no off-the-shelf resin, in-house Alumilite pours only. The goal here is to create a truly one-of-a-kind Declaration and I'll spend the time required (up to 20 emails) to make sure we both agree.
